Andrew and cousin Eliza (Epple) got to spend some time together this week. Eliza came to our house Thursday evening for a visit. Eliza calls Andrew "Boppy Baby", probably because she hears us calling him "Bopper" all the time! It is really cute! They love playing together and keep eachother pretty busy. Over the past few weeks Andrew has been doing new things every day, including climbing the stairs, clapping, sitting on his knees, placing different shaped objects in blocks, free standing and even took 2 - 3 steps on his own. He is also saying new words like "ball" and "Liza".
It is definatly summer here in Indiana. We have had days of sunny, blue skies and hot weather! This weekend David spent some time doing yard work and took Andrew along for the ride, while I finally got around to cleaning out the van (Oh it feels good to have a clean ride!).
On Sunday Steve, Michelle and family came over for a swim. Then they went out for dinner and a movie to celebrate Steve's birthday, while we watched the kids. We had baked chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans and french bread for dinner, played games in the backyard, went to a park, made chocolate chip cookies and watched Fox and the Hound. Andrew had a wonderful time watching his cousins every move!
