Cincinnati Homeschool Convention

Well only two more years and we will be sending our little Andrew to preschool, maybe... so we are trying to get a head start and looking at ALL of our options for schooling our boys!

We decided to make a mini-vacation out of it and even got to spend one evening out with some of our dear college friends, Aaron & Erin and family - Caleb, Nathan, Adah and Judah. We went to a wonderful pizza parlor and had a good time catching up and meeting the new members of each of our families! The convention was informative, but I mostly enjoyed talking with other Moms - most of which had a baby slung to them and were sitting in the back of the room nursing, definately my kind of crowd! We got to spend a little time with Aunt Michelle and Uncle Steve (who were kid-less for the weekend) as well.
We also had the opprotunity to meet the entire Duggar Family (from TLC's 19 kids and counting). It was interesting to hear Jim Bob and Michelle talk about how they met and share their testimony. The family was so very down to earth and it felt as if you were talking to a long-time friend because we keep up with them by watching their show. I tried to get Andrew to pose for a picture with Jeramiah, but he was being a bit shy... he told Andrew that he had a brother with the middle name Andrew, but was a little confused as to which one it was! I got a picture with my favorite Duggar, Jana (and Jinger) - I even asked if they were interested in waiting to court some pretty special boys!

We talked to Josh, who is expecting his second baby in June. His wife Anna was tending to their daughter. He assured me that they would be homeschooling their kids!
SO, I guess the BIG questions is what are we going to be do?? We will be praying that God will help us make the right decision for our family and let you know in a few years!
